Clare Darwish

Once upon a time, not very long ago, Clare Darwish was broke.

No money... no assets... living in a council flat and feeling disillusioned with life, with an unfulfilling part-time job in a solicitor's office that paid very little... a second hand car... and two beautiful kids that she was raising alone... and to top it all a bitter, venomous neighbour who kept her awake most nights with her drunken rantings.

Enough was enough and Clare turned her life around and within a short few years by building a hugely successful property business.

Declan Dowling

Declan Dowling is a 51 year young father of 3 beautiful children, married to a gorgeous/fantastic wife and currently works for Irelands biggest bank, AIB.

Sports was Declan's passion during his teenage years – He enjoyed high levels of success in football, basketball, table tennis, snooker, racquetball as a player and coach.

Declan spent 25 years working in the Department of Anatomy in University College Galway. "My fascination with the brain started here. Knew the anatomy of it but sought to find out how it really functioned i.e. how does it handle emotions, topics such as motivation, anger, resentment, how I communicated with myself and others etc. In the mid ‘90s I started to probe these questions and this coincided with my first introduction to network marketing. What a fantastic marketing model. This concept just resonated with me – help other get what they wanted and I would get what I wanted. I was going to be a billionaire!

I got stuck into my first ever business, an arrogant twat coming from a cocooned academic environment thinking I was smarter/more educated than Joe Soap. Boy did I get a slap of reality!

Worked hard at my MLM business, made some money but struggled with the duplication of my efforts. Now this was when I took responsibility for my own PROPER education and I immersed myself in success books, Dale Carnegie, Tony Robbins, Steven R Covey, Brian Tracy, Napoleon Hill, Charles Handy etc.

Was introduced to the Delfin Knowledge System in ’96 and introduced that company to Ireland where I set up a direct sales team. Developed a team that marketed this personal development program right across Europe and I managed the European fulfilment centre.

When BNI came to Galway I was part of the initial Leadership team and spent time as Chapter director. Spent 2 years facilitating Personal Development workshops and seminars before joining Irelands largest bank AIB in 2000. This has been a very valuable experience working thro’ the Celtic Tiger spending & lending boom, gaining valuable insights into all things financial and access to many different business sectors.

I’m currently in a Credit management role. My entrepreneurial spirit was reawakened after I received an email from a good friend Richard Wall back in April ’09. Richard asked me to take a look at iLearningGlobal because he knew I was passionate about personal development.
When I saw who was involved, Brian Tracy, Ivan Misner, Mark Victor Hansen , Jay Abraham etc I just said WOW! I was in straight away.

I flew to London with my wife for the UK launch to meet Brian Tracy, Shush Arya & Gary Parker. When I asked Brian Tracy to come to Ireland to launch iLG he gave me a commitment there and then to come in June, a promise he kept when he launched Ireland on the 6th June 2009.

In 5 months my business is in over 9 countries thanks to the 11 fabulous people I introduced to iLG and with the tremendous support of my very good friends Shush, Gary, Richard and Eric in the USA.

The power of leverage should not be underestimated! I now have a growing monthly residual income and more importantly, the people (friends!) I have in my team are also on a growing residual income . What a fabulous feeling!!!!!!!!!

John & Debra have both been on an amazing journey of personal transformation over the last ten years.

As a nurse Debra enjoyed an interesting career both in England, Scotland and China. China was particularly rewarding with Debra being part of a Medical Evacuation Service flying worldwide with patients in emergency situations. In Debra's nursing career she was accustomed to working 60 hour weeks and although extremely rewarding Debra was truly part of the "rat race" at that time.

John's background was construction and as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Builder and Chartered Arbitrator his career has taken him worldwide inclusive of postings in Europe, Middle East and Far East.

John and Debra are successful property investors and developers and both have enjoyed travelling extensively throughout the UK mentoring people in all Property Investment and Property Development.

I used to be a Chartered Accountant in the rat-race and I’ve also had many years experience with home based businesses and Internet marketing. I wasn’t actually looking for another business opportunity however when my good friend Shush Arya told me he had been to meet Brian Tracy and the iLG team in the USA and that Brian and many other world class speakers/authors were actively involved in a network marketing business for the first time I had to take a close look.

Shush Arya

In 2003 Shush set out looking for a way of generating income from home on the internet and discovered network marketing also known as MLM. In fact the exact search he typed into Google was “internet business opportunity“. The great appeal of MLM was that he could build this “walk away” residual income which would give him the time freedom to do whatever he liked so he could spend more time with the people he loved.
